Stockings for Soldiers

It's time for our annual Stocking for Soldiers Toiletry Drive!

The West Haven VA Hospital is in need of stocking stuffers (toiletries) for the veterans. We are asking each classroom to participate in a collection of items. This is an opportunity for students and families to give back to those who have served and continue to serve our country.

The drive will begin on Wednesday, November 6th and end on Monday, November 25th.

Our National Junior Honor Society, as part of their service to community, is sponsoring a fundraiser for the Susan G. Komen, Breast Cancer Foundation.

On Friday, October 25th, for $1.00, students may wear a pink top (with uniform bottoms). (Donations of any kind are gratefully accepted).

The NJHS is hoping for 100% participation to bring awareness to this disease that impacts so many. The members believe that every dollar makes a difference in the fight against breast cancer.
